Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accountancy in January 1966 from the University of Missouri
 Wabash Institute for Personal Development at Wabash College, Crawfordsville, Indiana

Employment History:

        1978-94 Illinois Cereal Mills, Inc.

Controller, Secretary-Treasurer, Executive Vice President and finally President and Chief Operating Officer. Retired in late 1994 after sale of company to Cargill, Inc. Illinois Cereal Mills, Inc. is a dry corn miller and grain elevator operator. It supplies processed corn products to cereal manufacturers, brewers, bakeries and various other food grade consumer product manufacturers.

             1971-78 Indiana Telephone Corporation

Controller then Vice President and Controller in Seymour, Indiana. Chief financial officer responsible for accounting, treasury, and data processing functions. Prepared testimony and exhibits and testified many times before the Public Service Commission of Indiana on such topics as telephone rates, financings, and construction of capital facilities.

            1964-71 Arthur Andersen & Co.

Senior Accountant in Kansas City office. Specialized in regulated industry clients (electric, water and gas utilities), trucking, cable tv, etc. Work included mergers and acquisitions, auditing, financial consulting, Securities and Exchange Commission filings, and utility rate cases.

Civic Involvement:

In April 2000 retired as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Hospital & Medical Foundation of Paris, Inc. (which operates a 49 bed acute care medical facility) after 20 years of service to the Hospital. He is a ruling elder of the Presbyterian Church. Past president of the Paris Rotary Club, Paris United Way, and Sycamore Hills Country Club. Participated in a number of other civic organizations.
